By the way, I'm not buying this stuff about MD being a 20-point-per-game-guy if he played starter's minutes. 31 MPG is starter's minutes.

Yeah, I don't see him as a 20 point a game guy, but I do see him as a competent sub for the 1,2, and 3 spots and he does have skills. I worry more about his character. His tweets are pretty bizarre at times.

Yeah, I'm just hoping he's better than TA.

I think Marquis Daniels can be a 16-17 points per game scorer if he managed to stay healthy + got starters minutes.

Injury wise -- Marquis Daniels struggles hugely, like TA does, when he comes back from injuries. He's a rhythm player and normally a period out on the sidelines knocks him out for at least a month or two before he can get back to his best.

That's pretty much what Marquis was doing last season (16ppg) for the first two months before getting injured and falling back to the lower level of performance. Same story throughout his career.

It's normally the injuries that ruin his season + his per game numbers. Both with the time missed and the time required to get back to his best.

Good stuff, Dave. Thanks. He sounds a bit like TA.
