Comrade Dickau?
Unics Kazan, a team in the Russian Basketball Super League, has offered to pay Dickau $4 million per season for two years. Dickau, 29, averaged 5.3 points and 2.6 assists in 67 games last season. Dickau, who is from Vancouver, Wash., and played at Gonzaga, was paid $770,610 last season and is an unrestricted free agent this summer."Sometimes players get caught up in the 'I'm an NBA player and I'm only going to play in the NBA' ego thing," said Dickau, who called the Realgm.com report an Internet rumor. "If there's a situation that's better -- career-wise and financially -- you hope you could put your ego on the back burner and make the best decision."
A little over a year ago, I penned the above post. I have not recollection of it. Worse, when I heard Ainge invited double-D to camp, my first thought was, "wow, this Pitino-Era guard must be kinda old by now." Hey, only about 5 years separated the end of the Pitino Era and the start of Dickau's 19-game stint with us. Geez.
It's bad enough having senior moments. It's even more interesting when one senior moment is wrapped up in another. . .

Awww Lex, you aren't having senior moments. Just having withdrawal from not having basketball for so long. It'll all be better soon.
Thanks, FCF!
