As for Sweetney, who played one game with the Celtics in the Orlando Summer League before sustaining a hamstring injury that finished his week, he's on a mission to show the NBA, if not the Celtics, that he's ready to make a comeback. He acknowledged on Monday that he's picked basically the hardest roster in the league to crack, but he plans on giving it his best shot.
"I just expect to come out here and do what I do, and that's come out and compete and show people I can still play and I'm able to compete in this league," Sweetney said.Sweetney said he's been around the team for a month or so, and he expects this team to win it all. "I've never seen a brotherhood [like this before], how everybody's together off the floor and on the floor," Sweetney said. "On the floor, you see guys competing so hard, and when they leave the floor they don't take it with them. I've just never seen anything like that. It's a great organization to be in."
