Anything Kevin Garnett gives them beyond a 14/7 and good defense is a bonus. A little frightening to say about someone in Year 1 of a three-year, $53 million extension. But true.

I'm not sure anyone really knows what the ceiling is for KG's performance this year. KG isn't 100% right now. His defense isn't where it's been in the past. Does that mean he can't get there, and, if so, does it mean he can't at least kick it up a notch or two from where he's at now?
That's just it.
Nobody knows. Not KG, not his doctors, not his trainers, and certainly not Bill Simmons.

Even if he doesn't score a point and doesn't grab a rebound, KG's presence and intensity can't be ignored. Just having him on the floor gives you an advantage. That being said, I expect KG to be a force this year because he is so hungry after sitting out so much time last year. Kind of like loosing the caged beast.
I'm gonna say KG will be 85 to 90% by 1/15/10.
I'd say he is 100% by 1/15/10. I think he is 85-90% now.
That would be great
