This guy has been total hype since he came into the league. Just another example of the unwritten rule: you wear the purple and the media will praise you as an All-Star, even if you are a third-stringer. Am I being a bit harsh? Last season, Farmar shot .391 from the field and .584 from the stripe. He played a grand total of 8 minutes in the Utah series, and shot 26-65 against Houston and Denver, and, as abysmal as that was, it represented a higher percentage than he shot during the regular season. And this guy wants to start? In the NBA?
Now let's take a look at another player, Marquis Daniels.
A year ago, Marquis Daniels was preparing to be a starter in the Indianapolis Pacers backcourt. Now, he has taken a pay cut and is working out with the Celtics’ second unit. But the first three days of training camp have confirmed to Daniels that he is exactly where he wants to be.

“A lot of guys just talk about it,’’ Daniels said of sacrificing his paycheck and starting role. “Some people actually do it. I had goal in mind. This is a great organization, great teammates, great coaching staff. I like our chances of achieving the goal we have in mind. In the end, hopefully, there can be the glory.

check out squisy's 2007 - 2008 numbers he did that in 20 mins coming off the bench! i hope he can give the c's those numbers again (maybe even a little more!) also i think he is gonna make eddie mansion a lot better!
I can't believe that most of the experts say that the Fakers had a better off season than the Celtics. I mean if you had to pick, would you rather have Rasheed Wallace, Marquis Daniels and Shelden Willisms or Ron Ron Artest?
It's one of those things that once you see the Celtics second unit in action, people will go, oh, wow, that's pretty impressive.
But otherwise, its SOS, purple this, purple that, you gotta love da purple.
