The NFL playoffs should be instructive to NBA fans. The San Diego Chargers entered the playoffs on an 11-game winning streak, making them the hottest team in the NFL. The New York Jets, meanwhile, squeaked into the playoffs with a 9-7 record. In the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys brought an end New Orleans Saints perfect season, on their way to an impressive and often dominant December. The Vikings? PU. Yesterday the Jets played the Bolts and the Queens played the Pokes. Bolts and Pokes victories, right?

So as we stutter and stammer our way through the regular season, just remember the real season doesn't start for 3 months.
