I was telling Florida Celts Fan that I still get a kick out of the fact that Glenn "Doc" Rivers has become a fixture for the Boston Celtics. Every season that the Celtics post 50 wins or more followed by a run deep into the playoffs, it becomes more likely that the lasting professional legacy of the former Atlanta Hawk and New York Knick will be as head coach of the Boston Celtics. Seeing Doc decked out in all green at the airport conjured up that feeling this time.

Very interesting. It's conceivable that Doc could catch Tommy in championships too if Rondo's prediction of at least 2 more in the near future pans out.
Let's not leave out Doc's 2 years as a Spur also. But Doc is a Celtic no matter where he played and it is a bit ironic after all those heated battles between Celtics and Hawks in his playing days that he'd be most remembered as a Celtic. Pretty cool though.
Ah, i forgot about his days in sa
