No, Kobe didn't play. But you know what was great about the game anyway? Well, besides the loss dropped the purple to 0-7. Gasoft and Artest were on the floor until the bitter end.
Loved it.
Also note Dwight Howard didn't play.
Hmmm. I thought he was just cleared to play "without limitation"?
The double black eyes ruined his “GQ look” but not Robert Sacre’s ability to fill in at center for the Lakers on Wednesday against the Clippers.
Sacre, starting again in place of Dwight Howard, scored 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds in the Lakers’ 97-91 loss to their cross-town rivals. Pau Gasol helped pick up the slack left by Howard’s absence with a team-high 17 points and eight rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as the Lakers fell to 0-7 in the preseason.
Howard took Wednesday night off after making his Lakers’ debut Sunday. He had complained of soreness in his surgically repaired back, but said he might play Thursday in San Diego.
This may be my favorite headline today.
Always love to see doom and gloom about the Fakers.
It may just be caution but I have a feeling that they may struggle this season because back surgery takes a while to come back from. Kobe's had several physical problems that may get worse this season.
And they are not a young team. Nash has stayed healthy in Phoenix but players have a way of falling apart after leaving Phoenix.
watched a couple games
nash has looked awful
defense absolutely awful

Congrats :)
I haven't watched any Laker games but they have a weak bench and they have some very fragile players they have to depend on this season.
Wow
may need to take a screen shot
I saw the other day you had two blogs in the top 5!!!
Based on the number of celtics blogs in the top half, i think it is your links that drive technorati's ratings
And frame it :)
My daily links help all the Celtics blogs.
