Who Said Bill Russell Couldn't Score?
Game 7. 1962 NBA Finals. Bill Russell drops 30 points on Jerry West and the Lakers, and the Boston Celtics claim title #5. According to history, Bill Russell was a defensive specialist who had a limited offensive repertoire. You don't just explode for 30 points in the biggest game of the year without having some reliable offensive weapons.
I think we're gonna find more than a few myths debunked by looking at the actual data instead of what people have written.
