For Garnett, that means he'll again be a full-of-energy leader at the defensive end. Offensively he isn't a dominant force anymore, but that isn't where he matters nearly as much as what he brings at the defensive end.

Wow. This writer is good. He doesn't go the next step and question whether KG is healthy enough to quarterback the defense with an all-world level of play. But that is indeed the question. Having him on the court barking commands will help. Having him on the court barking commands while he makes all-world defensive plays will help even more.
