Defensively, the Celts haven’t had a player like Daniels since James Posey. Offensively, not even Posey was this versatile.

I'm a little concerned about the expectations here. I'll be happy if Daniels is really 6-6, and just slightly better and more consistent than TA. But I'll keep an open mind that he might surprise me.

Daniels is now in an environment that appears to be playing to his strengths. He always has been an above-average defender. Now he’s surrounded by similar quality defenders.
"Above average"--that's a little different than saying he's the next james posey.
