I'm looking forward to this game. Although we blew them away by 28 at home, they are a young team, not unlike the hawks, who see games against the celtics as a chance to prove their mettle. In they 80s, the Globe would have called them high-flyers, young legs that play above the rim.

Today, I'll just call them a young, upstart team with tons of that p-word: potential.

EHouse is 13-32 in his last 5 games, which you might consider a slump, except he's 7-16 from 3.

Sheed is 14-33 in his last 5 games, averaging 2.8 rebounds per contest. However, he is 11-13 from the stripe and an impressive 8-15 from range.

Brian Scalabrine didn't play last game, after playing 30 minutes the previous two games. Doc sat him last game probably because in his previous 30 minutes, he grabbed a grand total of one rebound. Shelden is a better rebounder, but is undersized, and noah and thomas will thrive on blocking his shots.

Which way will doc go?

Scal to draw them out?

Or Shelden to push them around?

KP is shooting 30-39 over his last 5 games, or better than 75%. This makes me happy, but I'll be even happier if he repeats his rebound performance from last game--double digits.

KG sprinted quite a bit last game and looked really strong in doing so, though I did see him come up lame one time. He appeared to get pissed at himself, and quickly turned the limp into a sprint. Let's keep an eye on that tonight.

In his last 5 games Paul Pierce is averaging 12.8 PPG, including two single digit games. But the team is 5-0. Interesting, huh?

Finally, we have Rajon and TA. All eyes will be on both players, but for different reasons. I keep waiting for Rajon to dominate a game from wire to wire. As for TA, let's just see how long he can keep playing B- ball or better.
