The key thing about KG is that he doesn't take over unless he has to. He is very unselfish and prefers to let Pierce or Ray take over when they have it going. But last night, Ray was struggling and Pierce was hurting so KG just did his thing. The guy is definitely clutch.
People don't let a little thing like "evidence" or "truth" get in the way of a good argument. You've done a great job pointing out his clutch play this year, but this isn't new.
During the Cs '08 playoffs run, Garnett was the Celtics' leading 4th quarter scorer. He was the leading 4th quarter scorer no matter how close the games were...within 10 points, seven points, and 4 points KG was still the leader. He hit the only come-from-behind-to-tie shot for the Cs in last year's playoffs (Cavs game 1). He also hit the only under 30 seconds left game winner for the Cs in last year's playoffs (Cavs game 1).
The list could go on. The point is, KG has been mega clutch for the Cs for a while now but for some reason hardly anyone seems to notice it...

No wonder Bill Simmons hasn't written any Celtics related articles this year.
His main thesis from last season has been proven false!
